Lisa Edelstein has been an American actress for a total of twenty years. Most well-known is for her role as a character in House in the series House on Fox. She grew up in Wayne, in a conservative Jewish tradition. As a teenager, 18 she moved into New York City to study at Tisch School of the Arts. She quickly became part of the club scene in New York. Her shows were so good that even the local press noticed. In the end, she teamed her fame and talent with her writing and composing skills to produce a play called Positive Me. Awake to the Wild Side, a show that she was host for MTV was soon her job. When Awake on the Wild Side stopped running, she started to act in films as well as on TV, starting with brief roles. Gradually, her career in acting grew.
